10011. Modified the LeMIS transaction generation in Randomizer to cater for withdrawal reversals.

10022. Reviewed EPPMS data, putting up SQL scripts to update EPPMS with bank, bank branch and account number of employees from their IPPIS data spreadsheet.

10033. Continuing the EPPMS work, we put up scripts to update the grade level of employees from the IPPIS data spreadsheet, then to calculate the NHF deduction amounts for all active employees.

10092. Modified six EPPMS payroll report formats to include IPPIS ID.

10114. Visited EPPMS client, NRC, and both the EPPMS application and their database were updated with the program installer and SQL scripts.

10125. Visited to introduce Printwiser to a prospect on the mainland, with a demo presentation visit to be arranged later.

10173. Revisited our new AbanteCart-based online shop that was installed some months back at our website and continued configuring it, adding the naira as base currency, deleting the test data for categories, customers and products and start setting up our own categories and products.

10195. On typing “printwiser” in the search box of the browser the first Google hit displayed was an ad we placed on eclemo.com in 2005. We updated the ad to make it more descriptive and up-to-date.

Mobile Online Shop10254. Worked on the online shop setup, adding a couple more products, setting up VAT calculation for Nigerian residents so the prices didn’t have to include VAT, finally getting the prices showing in naira initially to visitors and also for the naira to appear on the currency selection list; later checked out the site using a smartphone and it looked nice.

10265. Worked on the online shop, customizing page display items—social network icons, About Us and Contact Us footer text and footer menu item text—and going through the customer registration process, checking out the email sent to a test customer on registration.

10276. Worked on the online shop, setting up text sliders of latest blog posts then four image banners promoting SFI.

10280. Continued work on the online shop, creating images for the two technical support service offerings and then setting up the five main page banners and the fallback banner for small devices.

10291. Worked on the online shop, changing the logos, customizing more settings and successfully installing the Paystack ATM card payment option and going over to their website to create an account so we could get the API keys needed for the Paystack payment to work.

10302. For the online shop we tested the Paystack payment option and it was successful. We’d seen mention of “downloadables” being treated differently by AbanteCart, like no shipping input, and we investigated how to set a product as such: You can actually upload a file to be downloaded and AbanteCart would control when and how many times it would be downloaded by the customer.

10313. Micheal Eniayeye joined our team as an office assistant. We uploaded a couple of products to the online shop and set featured products, linked it up to our main website and promoted Microsoftware Online Shop, our new e-commerce destination on the web on social media. Concluded on the date of demo presentation for the Printwiser prospect on the mainland.

Summary

Initial work was completed on Microsoftware Online Shop, our new e-commerce destination on the web. After upgrading EPPMS, technical support visit was made to NRC for the installation and database updates. A small revision was made to MR-Randomizer, while discussion began with a new mainland prospect for implementation of Printwiser. A new staff joined our team.
